In his Night Ski series, Stefano Cerio photographs the ski slopes. However, he chooses to photograph these places at a time of the day when they are not functioning, at night. To do this, he only illuminates the photographed structure using spotlights. The light then reveals the object seized. Seeming to appear at night, the chairlifts, barriers and slopes stand out in front of the viewer. The latter is led to question the interest of these spaces dissociated from their functions.
