Stefano CERIO
Stefano CERIO (1962-) is a leading figure of the new Italian photography. He began his professional career at 18 years old, when he photographed for the Italian newspaper l’Espresso. Stefano CERIO shot portraits and directions for Press and the fashion world. Since 2001 he has devoted exclusively to his personal works: photos with a more artistic dimension. His photos of landscapes and architectures have rich tones. Combined with centering the subjects, the photos make the uncanniness of our entertainment places clear. His innovative work has been followed with great interest by museums and informed collectors.
