Ormond GIGLI (1925-2019) is a famous fashion photographer. Beyond his collaborations with LIFE, Collier’s or Paris Match, Ormond GIGLI has photographed celebrities of his time. It is thanks to that his career took off, when he did a series of portraits for LIFE in place of Robert CAPA. The assignments speeded up, to each personal work followed another and quickly Ormond GIGLI became an unavoidable fashion photographer. His photo Girls in the windows, New York, (1960) enhanced definitively his reputation. It is a mythic photo, one of the most iconic picture in the world.
