From whales to killer whales, these cetaceans inhabit polar waters. Their perception by the lens is therefore more complicated. The photographer must immerse himself to capture them or wait for these marine mammals to leap out of the water. These special conditions make the final photographs magical. Those captures and share hidden underwater life. Thus, Paul NICKLEN has sometimes decided to modestly photograph a single fin or a surface movement.
