In this series of photographs, Kyriakos Kaziras dedicates himself to the study of penguins. The latter only live in the southern hemisphere. It was therefore necessary for him to survey the ice floes in search of these seabirds in order to seize their steps. The small size of these animals contrasts with their piercing and obstinate gazes. They seem to be in constant motion, pursuing a direction. Only the black of their backs and heads makes it possible not to confuse them entirely with snow. These penguins then move in the face of the immensity of the pack ice.
