Stephen WILKES

Stephen WILKES (1957-) est un des photographes les plus importants de sa génération. Ses séries de photographies explorent différentes facettes du monde. Le plus souvent en lien avec l’être humain, elles ont la capacité de modifier la perception que nous avons de notre environnement. Les photographies de Stephen WILKES figurent dans de prestigieuses collections telles que celles du George Eastman Museum et du Houston Museum of Fine Arts. Remportant de nombreux prix, Stephen WILKES est également la coqueluche des journaux et concours de photographies. Cela s’explique, entre autre, par l’usage novateur qu’il fait des apports de la photographie numérique et de par la qualité générale de son travail.
