Herbarium

In this series of photographs, Rachel Levy produced an urban herbarium. She has, in fact, photographed plants present in her Parisian environment. Through the minimalism of these images, the essence of the plants is highlighted. This velvety, light and precious aesthetic thus enhances these plants while provoking a reflection on life. By eliminating the superfluous, she questions the relationship to space, nature and time. These photographs of rare beauty therefore appease the viewer.
