Landscapes

Through his photographs, Mitch DOBROWNER succeed in conveying all the majesty of the American landscapes. He sublimates the landscapes by using black and white, which he couple sometime with infrared filters. Equipped with his camera and his tripod, he often uses 50 mm lens with an aperture of f/8, settings reflecting more or less the human vision. In the legacy of the famous American photographers Minor WHITE, Edward S. CURTIS and Ansel ADAMS, Mitch DOBROWNER, however, give to his landscapes a new approach, spotting the fantastic dimension (in Goblin Valley, the Doll House or even The Trolls). Then, Mitch DOBROWNER’s photos sail between innovation and classicism. Mitch DOBROWNER photographs mainly USA, he also made a trip for a series of photos in Iceland.
