Peony

The peony is a flower that can take up to 5 years to bloom and whose longevity is exceptional. It is therefore a late plant, but once its beauty is revealed, it offers an eternal spectacle. This makes it a wonderful subject for Rachel Levy. There are over forty species of peonies, which can be herbaceous, shrub or Itoh (hybrid). Peony is known to have medicinal properties. It is for this reason that it was named so by the Greeks in honor of the healing god Peon.
