Narwhal - Walrus
The narwhal is a cetacean that has been at the heart of many fantasies because of its horn. The latter was likened to that of the unicorn and was used to prove the existence of this legendary animal. The narwhal's horn, which can be 3 meters long, is indeed unique in the animal kingdom. Because of this, when narwhals poke their heads out of the water and stick their horns out, the moment is precious to the photographer. Likewise, the walrus's tusks were coveted, as were their fat elsewhere. This animal was the object of dangerous commercial exploitation in the 20th century. Today, it is a protected species, which allows the photographer to capture it in all its glory.
