Peter HUTCHINSON

Peter HUTCHINSON (1930-) is one actor of the Land Art movement and one of the pioneers of Narrative Art. He belongs to a generation of photographer which, between the 60’s and the 80’s, participated to redefine photography, emancipating it of the shooting moment. Peter HUTCHINSON has combined text and photos to shift the final picture in the flow of temporality. His photocollages in unique editions deal with nature, the impact man has on it and imagination. Peter HUTCHINSON’s artworks are exhibited in prestigious museums: Museum of Contemporary Art in Basel, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and The MoMA in New York.
