Deborah BENZAQUEN

Deborah BENZAQUEN (1973-) is an artist and photographer born in Casablanca, where she works and lives now. She also lived in Paris in her early years and then, as a young adult moved to New York. Deborah BENZAQUEN needs the light. She plays with it to build staged photographs, where different times and world collide. Her passion for cinema has inspired her the use of accessories in her photos. It allowed her to develop a strong sense of the new possibilities they open.
