Audrey HEPBURN

When Douglas KIRKLAND photographed Audrey HEPBURN, she was already famous and her career was at its top. The very first photographs he took of her date back to 1966, on the occasion of the promotion of William WYLER’s film: How to Steal a Million. She and he were in Paris, in one of the coffee of the Boulevard Saint-Michel. They were discussing and Douglas took some photos. He succeed in capturing Audrey’s playful smile, in a now well-known photography. She, glowing, looks on the side with her cheerful eyes. Then, they met regularly on movie sets.
